Quiet…too Quiet

4 April, 2024

Howdy hey, Cheesy People! It’s Thursday, so it’s time for ye olde Weekly Cheese. This week is going to be a bit light, due to some ==things== going on around the studio, but still worth a read! Let’s hop on in and see what we’ve been up to.

What’s Going On?

4 Non Blondes asked it years ago, and yet I still find myself unable to answer that great question. What I can answer is what the team has been doing, so let’s at least do that.

  • Ryan

    • :)

  • Bryan

    • Worked a bit with Mike as he fleshes out the simple and stylized rifle mag animations. Still under construction but is extremely close to implementing the first of many custom reload animations. Exciting stuff, if you ask us.

    • Talked a bit with Ryan about UI uniformity and final 'aesthetics' for the UI theme. Still very much in the works, so the main push for next week will hopefully be a breakthrough on button theme. Whether it be purchased, developed, or commissioned. That, plus a continued effort to conceptualize and hunt down objects to be used as components, as well as objects to be used as the game's physical representation of weapon perks.

    • Did a bit of brainstorming with Marc on a couple more memes. Highly under appreciated memes, I might add. He continues to cook.

    • Didn't get with Cole on any new bits, since his plate is plenty full of 2D art development. The collection of custom posters and icons is ever growing. Font game, on point.

  • Marc

    • Still running the war on the meme front, and doing a bang-up job.

  • Mike

    • As mentioned above, working with Bryan to implement some sweet reload animations! In addition to some other stuff, that is.

  • Cole

    • Working on icons for materials and components.

    • Continuing to build out map posters!

In Closing

I know it’s not a lot this week, but you’ll have to trust me that great things are coming down the pipeline. Scout’s Honor (I was never a scout).

Goodnight folks,
