He’s One Shot, Bro

Good evening and happy Thursday to you, dear reader. It’s time for the glorious Weekly Cheese, and I know you’re anxious to get into it, so why delay? This is your humble guide Squid, deep in sickness, and I am here to journey with you to the end of this weekly review of the team’s work. Let’s take a look…
The Craft
Ryan
Redid the agent nameplates to show in screen space instead of world space.
Removed voice chat for now. Gotta rewrite a system from the ground up (no surprise).
Added healthbars + animations.
Added swamp junk to dev map.
Tried Unity Muse (their AI plug in). Super impressive so far but too buggy to use.
Implemented a base AI entity in preparation for the Kythera Trial.
Bryan
Did more brainstorming than actual work on the Tier 3 weapon write ups & recipes. I'll get it done by your next reading of 'the cheese.' Promise.
Did my best to assist as Mike meticulously molded magnificent map models meant for massive multiplayer mayhem. Gosh, alliterations are fun.
Conversations around the hearth with Ryan over topics such as difficulty progression, cheese weapon utility, ragodoll vs. death animation, etc.
Made some 'afflicted' fan art in Wallpaper Engine. Please, please. Hold your applause.
Oh, and a happy opening day to all my fellow football fans and fantasy managers! Go, Local Sports Team!
Daniel
Fighting the good fight against his collegiate schooling (he’s winning).
Taking the fight the leg extension machine as well. 200lbs for 15 reps. Can you do that?
Marc
He’s here and he’s, uh, busy!
Mike
Working on more sweet, sweet assets for the game. After seeing some of them within the last playtest, it’s super exciting.
Alex
Continuing his holy efforts of building out the new swamp map.
Cole
Dying a slow and painful death (I have a sickness).
In Closing
Times are good, people are good, afflicted is good. That’s all you need to know.
